The Brooklyn Public library offers a FREE library card to teens and young adults in the United States ages 13-21. When they sign up, they have access to ebooks, audiobooks, learning resources, AND banned and challenged books. Teens should be able to read and access books where they see themselves. Speaking from experience, seeing yourself represented in the pages is extremely powerful and sends the message that it's okay to be you.
